WYDAYS / THE PROJECT
About Us
Stories that bring young people, cultures and communities closer together.
WYDAYS is an editorial project about World Youth Day and the people, ideas and experiences that surround it. We explore the journeys that begin before a gathering, the encounters that happen along the way, and the connections that continue afterwards.
A shared world, many perspectives
Our purpose is to make these stories accessible to an international audience. From faith and volunteering to music, culture and travel, we look at the many ways young people take part in a wider community.
Through news, cultural stories, programme updates and practical guides, WYDAYS offers a place to discover what is happening, understand the context and prepare for the journey ahead.
Different journeys. One world. Stories that bring us closer.
An open invitation
Whether you are a pilgrim, a volunteer, a curious reader or someone discovering World Youth Day for the first time, this project is for you. We believe that listening to different perspectives can turn a distant event into a shared human story.
How we work
We bring together information from official sources and news coverage, with an emphasis on clarity, context and useful links. AI tools assist with article review, and our news images are AI-generated illustrations rather than documentary photographs.
